Mental health therapy services are the cornerstone of our services at Connect and Restore. Our licensed, experienced and professional therapists value the process that each child, family, teen, adult, or parent must embark on to live the most full and productive life possible. We are proud to partner with you as you traverse life’s journeys.
Individual therapy is a valuable tool for anyone dealing with difficult transitions, past traumas, or current crises. We treat and work with people of all ages, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods proven to help clients address challenging life circumstances.
Family therapy is a vital component of mental health treatment that addresses the foundational unit of society — the family. Whether it’s building emotional bridges in foster and adoptive homes, guiding families through difficult times, or just strengthening parent/child connections, family therapy services are foundational to our services at Connect and Restore.
Play is a child’s language and children use play for expression of thoughts and feelings. Through evidence-based play therapy interventions, Connect and Restore therapists strategically assist children in expressing thoughts and resolving what is troubling them. Connect and Restore therapists have had extensive training in a variety of play therapy techniques and/or are Registered Play Therapists.
Healthy social-emotional development for children from birth to five years is a crucial component to building a foundation of lifelong mental health. Through family-centered intervention, our therapists work with families to promote healthy social-emotional development and strong attachments with young children and their caregivers.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. Our therapists utilize EMDR to help both children and adults process past traumatic experiences and associated symptoms.
