DESCRIPTION:Hosted by: Connect & Restore \nFacilitated by: Brittany Fowler\, Director of Child & Family Programs @ Connect & Restore\, MS\, LPC-S\, Registered Play Therapist\, IMH-E®\, ERS & PMH-C \nWhere: Connect & Restore \nWhen: June 8th\, 15th & 22nd (3 Monday Nights) \nWhat: \n\nThe Circle of Security is a map made to illustrate the needs of every human being as understood through the lens of the human biological need for attachment.\nAttachment problems in infancy and early childhood increase the probability of psychopathology later on in life.\nSecure attachment relationships with caregivers are a protective factor for children\, setting foundation for social competence & promoting effective functioning of the emotion regulation and stress response systems.\nQuality of the attachment relationship is amenable to change.\nLearning\, including therapeutic change\, occurs from within a secure base relationship.\nLasting change in the attachment relationship comes from caregivers’ developing specific relationship capacities rather than learning techniques to manage behavior.\nAll caregivers want what is best for their children\n\n  \nWho Comes: Parents\, Grandparents\, Guardians\, Teachers\, childcare workers and others that work with young children\, infants\, children\, teens\, or adults! \n  \nCost of Materials: $300 per couple (or $150 per individual).
