Everyone has a unique life story. Counseling allows me to get a glimpse of your individuality and amazing story. My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are, with warmth and genuine compassion, and to walk alongside you to discover your strengths and gain insights to tell your story and transform your journey.
I have a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma, and I have completed licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My background includes over 20 years working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings such as palliative care, chronic illness and outpatient mental health.
I have served adolescents and adults struggling with issues including adjustment, relationships and conflict, grief and loss, trauma resolution, life transitions, anxiety and depression. I utilize evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapies.
I was married for 28 years to my late husband Todd, and we have three amazing children. I love to spend time with our kids, travel and enjoy the outdoors.
