Hello!
My name is Brooklyn Smith. I’ve lived in Tulsa for the past 10 years, though I grew up on a farm in a small town in northwestern Oklahoma. I’m a mom to two wild little boys, Everett and Arlo!
I completed my undergraduate degree at OSU and have been a pediatric occupational therapist for 9 years, including 7 years at Little Light House. I have training in DIRFloortime, the SOS Approach to Feeding, sensory processing and sensory diets, reflex integration, Zones of Regulation, and I am a certified intervener through the Oklahoma Deaf-Blind Project.
I’m also passionate about supporting parents by creating social stories, educational handouts, potty-training resources, and visual supports to help children succeed at home and in their daily routines.
Occupational therapy at Connect and Restore will be:
- DIRFloortime and play-based
- Trauma-informed
- Developmentally appropriate and strength-based
- Collaborative and family-centered
I deeply value connection, trust, and relationship-building, and I look forward to partnering with each family we serve.
