I believe in bringing hope and perspective to people’s lives. I have a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy and a MS in Community Counseling from John Brown University and almost 25 years experience helping people of all ages, including parents and families, become more successful in their lives and relationships. I am a mother to six children, from age 10 to 25, and realize how each developmental stage brings new challenges and questions as a parent. One of my passions is assisting parents with navigating developmental stages while encouraging positive change and joy-filled relationships in their homes. I enjoy providing therapy to individuals ages 6 and up – assisting them with removing barriers to success and providing tools to help them succeed in everyday life. I currently offer in office services, teletherapy services and faith based services on request.

I believe a person’s life story and relationships should be factored into helping them overcome challenges they are facing. For children, this includes using expressive therapies (play, art). For teens, adults, parents and families there are many tools incorporated in the therapy process which ultimately assist the person with living their best life. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, women aging gracefully, parenting, and growing healthy family relationships on a daily basis.

My vision for counseling is to provide an environment of healing and hope. I seek to empower and assist my clients to reach their goals and be successful in all aspects of life.
