For as long as I can remember, I enjoyed helping others. I truly feel being a therapist is God’s calling for my life. I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience, while also allowing my clients to feel seen, heard, supported and safe.
I graduated from Northeastern State University with my bachelor’s and master’s in Social Work. After attaining my master’s degree, I worked as a therapist for a community mental health agency. During my 4 years in community mental health, I have worked with children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, trauma, life transitions, and family-related challenges. I also partner with parents to strengthen communication, build effective coping strategies, and support healthy family relationships.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I incorporate evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and attachment theory with a systems lens.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time in nature or spending time with family and friends. I serve as a small group leader for my church’s youth group, where I find great fulfillment in my role in my church.
