I was born and raised in Kansas. I received my associate of science degree in 1997 from Independence community college. I then transferred to the University of Kansas earning my bachelor’s of science in the field of occupational therapy in December of 2001.
I have been practicing occupational therapy for over 25 years. I truly love the profession and I’m passionate about all ages and stages of life. I began my career in outpatient therapy and home health caring for primarily the geriatric population. I began treating pediatrics full-time approximately 20 years ago after the birth of our first child.
I truly love to see the ways that therapy can positively impact individuals and help them be as independent and active as they are able no matter what their age! I have been married for 28 years and I have three daughters.
Outside of work, I love to attend Bible study, travel all over the world and see the miraculous things that God has created, read and spend time with my friends and family.
